ABOUT LISA
How it all began
Lisa's love for horses goes right back to when she was a child, competing her various ponies in local shows around the Midlands. She continued to compete successfully up to 2* eventing as well as 130cm show jumping before turning her focus to dressage in the mid 90's.
Lisa has worked her way up the levels of British Dressage on mostly home produced horses, some of which she has owned since they were foals. She is a regular at both regional and national championships and can often be seen riding at Premier League Shows.
On her journey, she has experienced many highs and lows along the way, all of which have ultimately helped her develop as a rider and trainer and she enjoys sharing her expertise and knowledge with other riders and equine enthusiasts. Her background makes her the ideal person to help a variety of riders and horses. Lisa's keen eye for detail, rider position and mechanics of both horse and rider allow for a holistic training approach suitable for dressage enthusiasts, eventers, showjumpers or children alike. In addition, she teaches dressage for driving and has trained two international Paralympic Dressage riders.
Lisa is a UKCC Level 2 Qualified Dressage Coach as well as a BD Youth Coach and BD Youth Assessor.
She has recently completed Testt® training for coaches with Andy Thomas, is fully insured, a qualified first aider, safeguarding and DBS checked.
